Ben Hur Are Scammers!

If you are reading this blog, chances are you already read one of my reviews. A few quick highlights:

I hired Ben Hur Moving and Storage for a cross country move from New England to Southern California.

They sent inexperienced movers who damaged my bedroom furniture by applying packaging tape directly to soft wood.

They did not turn the furniture hardware inside out before wrapping it in the blankets.

The blankets they provided were worn with no padding left.

The furniture was damaged before it even made it on to the truck. Despite this, Ben Hur refuses to provide fair replacement/repair value for the furniture.

During the claim process, Ben Hur would not respond to e-mails or phone calls. At one point, the manager, Tsuri Gadasi, actually left a conversation in mid sentence with no explanation.

There are a lot of scathing reviews on Yelp. Head these warnings. You have lots of options for moving; explore the others instead!
